Rollover injures one

Utah Highway Patrol troopers investigate an accident that occurred July 1, south of Richfield on State Route 118. One person had minor injuries.

CENTRAL VALLEY — A driver escaped serious injury after her 1999 Ford Ranger rolled near Central Valley July 1. 

Malia Mitchell, 43, Elsinore, was driving north on State Route 118 when she reported falling asleep and then over correcting to miss some signs, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. 

The truck rolled two times and landed on its wheels. 

Mitchell was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and suffered non-incapacitating injuries, according to the UHP.  

She was transported to Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield via ambulance for treatment of injuries.
