MONROE — Carson Gifford, student body vice president at South Sevier High School, rears back to take a whack at a car adorned with anti-Beaver graffiti during the Rams’ homecoming game Friday night in Monroe.

Gifford said at $1 for 30 seconds of smashing, the event, which benefits the school’s annual Giving it Back fundraising project, brought in nearly $200. That adds up to about an hour and 40 minutes of car pounding.
