MONROE — At least one person is using their coronavirus isolation to cause mischief. The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home in Monroe May 9 to investigate an report of a car that have been covered with post-it notes.
The car had between 200 and 300 notes stuck on it that said, “Trump 2020.” The homeowner had a sign on his front yard supporting Joe Biden, the presumptive Democrat nominee for president this election year.
“He thinks it happened because of that,” said Sevier County Sheriff Nate Curtis. “The complainant said he had taken all the stickers off and that no damage had been done to his car.”
The notes were reportedly placed on the car sometime the night before after 8 p.m.
At this time there are no suspects.
