One injured in rollover

Crews work to help a man who was injured in a rollover on Interstate 70 between Joseph and Elsinore Sept. 30. The man was ejected from the truck he was driving.

A rollover between Elsinore and Joseph resulted in a Richfield man being injured Sept. 30, on Interstate 70. 

The accident occurred when an eastbound 2007 Ford Ranger, driven by Gavin Capasso, 20, Richfield to the left for unknown reasons, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. 

The vehicle then came back across the roadway and ended up rolling.

Capasso, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle, according to the UHP. He was transported via ambulance to Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield.

A passenger in the vehicle, Megan Wilkinson, 20, Richfield, was wearing a seat belt and was not transported to the hospital.

The crash resulted in one lane of the interstate being closed down as crews helped the patients and cleared the wreckage.
