Emergency responders deal with an accident on north Main Street in Richfield Friday afternoon. The accident knocked out power in a portion of town.

Lights flickered, and in some places went out Friday afternoon when a car smashed through a power pole off of north Main Street in Richfield.

The accident occurred at approximately 50 East Paiute Drive, a dirt road. The driver, a juvenile female, was driving east on the road and was speeding at approximately 60 mph, according to information released by the Richfield City Police Department.
