Police and family members are searching for a man who has been missing since March 4.

Jim Fields, 77, left his Annabella home Monday at approximately noon to go to a medical appointment in Provo. Fields never made the appointment, and has been missing ever since.

“That was the last time anyone has seen him,” said Linda Fields, Jim’s wife. She said his medical condition may have left him slightly disoriented.

The family is asking for any help people can give to help find Jim.

Jim was driving a dark gray 2012 Dodge Ram pickup with a matching camper shell. The license plate on the truck is Utah C323PL.

“Deputies have received reports he may have made it to the medical center but not to the appointment,” said Sevier County Sheriff Nate Curtis.

Curtis said the search for Fields was continuing Monday.

“We haven’t had any new tips or leads,” Curtis said. “It’s frustrating.”

One of the latest tips indicated that Jim’s truck may have been spotted near Delta. However, searching the area hasn’t turned up any evidence of Jim.

The Civil Air Patrol has been conducting areal searches for Jim’s vehicle.

Anyone who has seen Jim or the pickup is asked to call the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office at (435) 896-2600 or (435) 896-6471.
