A Bullnanza Chute-Out is slated at the Sevier County Fairgrounds Saturday, July 13.
The bull riding and futurity event will provide a glimpse of approximately 70-100 future professional bull riding stock.
Futurity is the method by which bulls are scored for sale into the Professional Bull Riders, Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, and other professional riding organizations.
The event is slated to begin at 10 a.m., starting with three classifications – yearlings; junior futurity, which includes two-year-old bulls owned by seven to 18 year olds; and futurity stock, two-year-old bulls owned by those over 18 years of age. The bulls in these classifications will be scored with a dummy rider on each bull’s back.
The event will also include bulls classified as derby, three-year-old bulls; classic, four-year-old bulls; and mature, five-year-old and older bulls. Polished bull riders will ride and help score these bulls. This segment of the event will begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the gate for $8 per person. Military can purchase tickets for $5 per person and family tickets will be available for $20 per family.
The event is sanctioned by the High Desert Bucking Bull Association. The fairgrounds are located at 410 East 200 South, Richfield.
