One Voice fundraiser

A dumpling workshop is being hosted Friday, Nov. 16, in Richfield. The workshop has been organized to help members of the One Voice Choir head to Belize so they can assist with humanitarian projects.

Members of the One Voice Choir are teaming up with Ryan Ogden of Revive Humanity to serve the people of Belize.

The choir is scheduled to leave in April for Belize to construct and provide books and supplies for a village elementary school outside of Orangewalk, a small community two hours northeast of Belize City.

In order to gather the funds needed to build the library and provide essential supplies, the choir is hosting a dumpling wrap party fundraiser. The event will be Friday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m., at the Richfield Fire Station, 100 East 100 North in Richfield.

Scoop Anthony owner and operator of renowned New York City Food Truck, “The Dumpling Wagon” will be providing instruction.

The cost is $25 a person and participants will go home with 50 dumplings. Each participant will need to bring a cookie sheet, a mixing bowl and a container to take home their dumplings.

Reservations for the dumpling wrap party need to be made before Nov. 16, in order to save a spot for the event.

Payments can be sent to Ryan or Jeanna Ogden by Venmo, or by cash or check to Janet Bird.

For more information or to reserve a spot, contact Bird at (435) 979-1147.
