MONROE - South Sevier's volleyball team chalked up two more wins, taking down North Sevier and Gunnison at home, Sept. 30 and Oct. 2, to advance the Lady Rams to 14-4 on the season, and 7-1 in region action.

First facing North Sevier at home, the Lady Rams, led by Kayla King's 12 kills and three blocks, owned the match in three straight sets. The first set saw both teams see-sawing back and forth for the advantage, but South Sevier pulled out a 28-26 upset.

The Lady Rams made quick work of the second and third sets, taking both by a score of 25-18.

South Sevier hosted Gunnison Oct. 2, again taking all three sets to walk away victorious. Aubrey Lindgren led the Lady Rams over the Lady Bulldogs with 14 kills and four blocks, while Jadie Parsons chipped in another 11 kills in the win.

South Sevier's next match will see them traveling to face Grand Friday, Oct. 17.
