" This isn't a great front page story... It's actually kind of embarrassing.
What does the Reaper really think people want to read?? Seriously, you guys need to put some consideration on what should really be the main story every week. A car wreck?? The only car wreck that anyone has ever talked about in the past 2 years is the one that involved Tyson and Kade, which was well deserving for the main article of the week.
The front page article should be about the most anticipated and talked about subject of every week, and I can guarantee you, the only true deserving stories I ever see are when the 4th of July comes around. Every other week of the year it seems like all the public ever reads is about someone getting an award, or building a new house.
I'll tell you this, when I pick up the Richfield Reaper, I go straight to the sports section. As do most people, and why is that? Because the sports are recreational activities that have been going on during the week, that people talk about.
In reality, Who knows if this comment will even be read by anyone working for the reaper, but I sure hope that if an employee glances over it, they might take some advice, and start putting stories on the front page that the PUBLIC wants. "

" Hey Disappointed Reader, instead of bashing the paper for things they can't control why don't you take some initiative and create or find some news in this small town yourself! What ever happens here on a weekly basis? Not much usually! So I'm pretty sure the Reaper puts what they feel is the most prolific story of the week on the front! If you think you can do better I'd like to see it! "

" Laffy- Didn't say anything to you, and I didn't mean to burst your bubble, but to say that this is the "best front page you've seen in months" give me a break, a car crash, only on the front because it was a cop?! Come on Laffy, you've got to be joking right? Best in Months?! .....right.... If that's the best, then that's pretty sad. "

" Bytheway, It looks like the Brand New Dodge Pick-up just had such a horrible accident in this one, what's next, our money going to a ferrari? Why can't they mention how great a vehicle the blazer was? nah, i'm just jokin. Also, sorry Laffy, didn't mean to offend you. "

" Next week, the front page should headline "Richfield Defeats #1 Manti!!" - then continue on to say that they are 2-0 in region play. Then also comment on how well South Sevier boys are doing as well.
Just a thought instead of a cop crashing his beloved Dodge Charger.. "

" Hey disappointed - when you live in a po-dunk town, you get po-dunk news! Its not like a big city where everyday something exciting happens! If thats what you are looking for, then I suggest you might what to move to a different location! Also, the Sports section of the paper is for the Sports! That is why there is a special section for it and everyone knows where to find the Sports if they want to read about it! A newspaper is structured by the way . . . you might want to find out a little about how a newspaper works first! If you don't like the Reaper, then why don't you open your own and start a new one?! "

" Disappointed you didn't offend me so don't lose any sleep K! So when do you plan starting your own newspaper? This town could use more jobs ya know? "

" Grown ups do not act as inmature as this. Can you think of anything better to do than cut at each other. Laffy does have a great point, however disappointed is an embarassment to whoever reads this paper. Sorry, I just felt like voicing that. Oh, one more thing, Go Wildcats! "

" Throwing around insults has become common place when posters do not use their real name. This way they can pose as the person they secretly want to be and not be held accountable.
I see nothing wrong with the current front page. I also see nothing wrong with the sports section. For myself, I detest sports. Never even glanced at it once.
It all boils down to what holds a persons interest. The Reaper has the hard job of figuring out what people want to read about. On the other hand, Sevier Count History is big for me. If they had a history section, then that is where I would turn to first. They are the keepers of history when they post articles. I use several of their articles to document the stories I post on my own web pages. "
